Wild Guide to Ireland

There are many reasons to be thankful and excited going forward this new year, but none more so the next chapter of my writer’s journey. As some of you may or may not yet know, last year I received the privilege of being commissioned to write my very first guidebook! They mightn’t be everyone’s ideal page-turner, but I sure count myself lucky to be tasked with such an honour, particularly saying as the country in question is none other than my home. Yes, this year you can expect lots of new content, but specifically many articles surrounding… Ireland!

Last Autumn I signed along the dotted line for my very first publishing contract! Yes, after a hard year of graft to complete my Masters’ degree I was lucky to have one amazing opportunity waiting on the other side. Better still, I now have a chance to show off my wonderful home nation of Ireland! Despite having lived away for several years now, I am still ever-proud of my roots and I cannot think of a better way to show thanks then by writing about it in this very special guide.

The winter months have been all about research and the dawn of spring brings with it lots of writing and logistics. There is so much to do, but I’ve also got a jam-packed month of adventures to look forward to. Keep an eye on my blog The Wandering Rose and any social media pages for exciting news and further updates as they happen. In the meantime, I’d better get back to writing… Speak soon x
